This is for a Permanent or Fixed Term Full Time appointment, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist – Mental Health Liaison to join the Mental Health Team at Geraldton Health Campus – Midwest. To be successful, you will have... Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience of mental health disorders and provision of evidence-based treatment in acute and community settings. Significant experience in crisis intervention and the prioritising, and management of psychiatric and nonpsychiatric emergencies in complex situations. Knowledge and skills in the implementation of the WA Mental Health Act and legislation affecting clinical practice. Position Profile: Establish and maintain high quality standards of patient care by leadership, delivery of care and role modelling in accordance with policies and procedures. Act as a clinical resource to staff across the hospital. Provide expert clinical assessment, screening, follow-up and care as required.
