Calvary, Launceston Hospital Perioperative Clinical Nurse Specialist Full time position based at St Luke's campusPay rate is dependent on Enterprise Agreement and experience: $58.08 -$58.61 per hour, excluding super and company benefitsDue to Retirement, Calvary St Luke's has an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team within the Perioperative services as Perioperative Clinical Nurse Specialist, on a full-time basis. St Luke's Theatre specialises in ENT and is the largest Orthopaedic surgical provider in Northern Tasmania.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
In delegation with the Nurse Manager, assisting in the leadership of the perioperative team to achieve optimal patient care, ensuring efficiency of the operating lists and workload.
The role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services.
It requires teamwork to achieve excellence in care delivery in line with best practice, governing standards and legislative requirements.
The successful applicant will aim to support and entrench a culture of clinical excellence and best practice.
