We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist– Mental Health Liaison Position Profile: The prime objective is to triage and assess all patients presenting to the Emergency Department, who may be considered at risk or requiring a specialist mental health assessment.
This role is responsible for providing a specialised clinical mental health consultancy service to the Emergency Department and other areas of West Pilbara, including Karratha Health Campus, Onslow Health Service and Roebourne District Hospital, outside of the operating hours of the community mental health service.
The CNS-MHL sets priorities for management, collates information for assessment, and assists in coordinating emergency responses within the region.
The CNS-MHL liaises with government and non-government service providers to coordinate the provision of mental health services to clients and provide educational support.
What we are looking for: Extensive and recent experience as a practicing Community Mental Health Nurse providing triage, assessment, and case management services.Demonstrated ability in communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills to provide clinical coaching, leadership.Advanced knowledge and skills in the implementation of Mental Health Act and legislation policies.Current knowledge and ability to coordinate Quality Management processes.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.What we offer: In addition to the great salary our employees enjoy an amazing range of benefits including:
