Location: KarrathaUnit/Division: Karratha Health CampusWork Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time, CasualWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist– Mental Health LiaisonPosition Profile:The prime objective is to triage and assess all patients presenting to the Emergency Department, who may be considered at risk or requiring a specialist mental health assessment.
This role is responsible for providing a specialised clinical mental health consultancy service to the Emergency Department and other areas of West Pilbara, including Karratha Health Campus, Onslow Health Service and Roebourne District Hospital, outside of the operating hours of the community mental health service.
The CNS-MHL sets priorities for management, collates information for assessment, and assists in coordinating emergency responses within the region.
