Please note this position is eligible for a Multi Disciplinary Allowance.The Role:Provide advice and information to callers of the Head to Health Phone Service, including consumers, carers and health professionals, about mental health and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services and supports.Complete mental health assessments over the phone using the Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) and refer individuals to appropriate services according to their identified level of care.Provide leadership, secondary consultation, case review and assistance to other clinical and non-clinical team members.You will need:A minimum of two years post graduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to mental health services.Ability to build rapport to manage sensitive and difficult situations in an empathetic manner.Demonstrated capability to establish and maintain relationships and partnerships to improve outcomes for clients, carers, and internal and external stakeholders.Details of appointment:Multiple fixed term full time and part time, day worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $106,570 - $112,440 per annum.
