The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) position is to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team, or service.
The CNS employs advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision-making while working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
Ideal Candidate Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organization.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem-solve to manage the complex clinical care needs of patients through the development and use of clinical management plans.Benefits and Perks!
