The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) position is to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.
The CNS employs advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making, working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
Ideal Candidate Currently holds registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.Has extensive Emergency and Paediatrics experience.Can demonstrate leadership skills.Benefits and Perks!
