We strongly encourage applicants from key communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTIQA+ people, and people living with disabilities.The Role:Provide specialist nursing expertise within an interdisciplinary framework to assist individuals and their families/carers to adjust to living with diabetes and/or other endocrinology conditions, including the provision of education and health promotion activities.Act as a clinical resource for internal and external stakeholders, including community organization(s) and health professionals, to provide specialist advice, knowledge, and support.Details of Appointment:Permanent full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. On-call is a requirement.Salary: $103,466 to $109,165 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2022.You'll have access to salary packaging and a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full-time for three years or more, on top of relocation allowance already available.Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education.Note: Please refer to the Application Guide for more information on essential requirements, desirable requirements, and pre-employment checks.For more information:Applicants who require further information are encouraged to contact the contact person for detailed information about the vacancy.
