The Role: Provide specialist nursing expertise within an interdisciplinary framework to assist individuals and their families/carers to adjust to living with diabetes and/or other endocrinology conditions, including the provision of education and health promotion activities.
Act as a clinical resource for internal and external stakeholders, including community organization(s) and health professionals, to provide specialist advice, knowledge, and support.
Details of Appointment: Permanent full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
On-call is a requirement.

Salary: $103,466 to $109,165 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2022.

You'll have access to salary packaging and a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full-time for three years or more, on top of relocation allowance already available.

Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education.
