An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Mental Health & CADS team at Carnarvon Health Campus – Midwest. To be successful, you will have... Extensive experience as a Community Mental Health Nurse with demonstrated expert level skills in crisis intervention, assessment, treatment and case management of adults and seniors with complex mental disorders Demonstrated ability in problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a multidisciplinary team and ability to work as an independent practitioner Advanced knowledge and ability to initiate & manage interventions under the Mental Health Act 2014 Demonstrated skills in applying the National Standards for Mental Health Services at the organisational level and in clinical practice Demonstrated clinical leadership skills including skills in providing clinical supervision, line management and performance development with supervised staff Position Profile: Provides specialised Mental Health Services for people with mental disorder in the Central West region,  based on nursing best practice, including assessment, crisis care and intervention.
