You will be a clinical expert and a vital resource for nursing, medical, and allied health staff, ensuring that we deliver the best possible outcomes for our consumers and stakeholders.The Role:The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Community Forensic Mental Health Services (CFMHS) works as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality forensic mental health services and in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.Salary: $103,466 - $109,165 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.RN:Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full time for three years or more, on top of relocation allowance already available.Correctional allowance of 6.5%Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification typeSalary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023Minimum Requirements:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and possess, or be working towards, specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification; or completed prior to the transfer of nurse education to the tertiary sector, a hospital-based training program that resulted in previous registration as a psychiatric nurse by the relevant nurse registration authority within Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom.Current Driver's Licence.How to Apply:Apply Online.
