About the role: The General Surgery/Colorectal Operating Theatre Clinical Nurse provides direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education, and support to patients/clients and nursing staff within the unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
The two General Surgery/Colorectal operating theatres run five days a week with additional theatre list occurring on an adhoc basis.
Role requirements:

Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.The successful candidate must have current and extensive experience working within a general surgery/colorectal operating theatre.
