Nurse Level 3 (Remuneration Package $126,639 - $135,192) Top End Population and Primary Health Care Fixed vacancy for 12 months Various locations across the NT Adelaide River, Alyangula, Angurugu, Belyuen (Delissaville), Daly Rvr-Nauiyu Namb, Gunbalanya-Oenpelli, Milikapiti-Snake Bay, Wurrumiyanga (Nguiu – Bathurst Is), Numbulwar, Palumpa-Nganmarriyan, Peppimenarti, Pine Creek, Pirlangimpi, Pularumpi-Pirlangimp, Robinson River, Umbakumba, Wadeye-Port Keats The aim of the Transition to Practice program is to create a supported clinical pathway for nurses and provide the skills and knowledge to practice competently in Remote Primary Health Care (PHC). The Program: We are looking for nurses with broad based experience. To qualify for the program you will need a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience. The program runs for twelve months based in a remote NT community, employed at the N3 level. After completion of the 12 month program, participants will be able to apply for a vacant N4 level position, and be encouraged to complete the graduate certificate in remote health practice with Flinders University. Relocation assistance to the community and accommodation are provided. Throughout the twelve months you will attend the following courses: Maternity Emergency Course (MEC), Remote Emergency Course (REC), Transition to Remote Nurse Practice (TRAN to RAN), completed online approved Vaccination Course, Pharmacotherapeutics, as well as other professional development opportunities. Candidates will complete: Essential Training, reflective practice on outlined domains of care, observed consults, and a case study all of which are contained in the TEHS Transition to Remote Program Practice Workbook.
