Clinical Nurse (Mental Health - Acute Care Team)

Clinical Nurse (Mental Health - Acute Care Team)Deliver clinical services within an integrated Mental Health service environment with a multidisciplinary team focus, incorporating clinical assessment, management/treatment planning, interventions, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic programs and support services aimed at maintaining optimal level of consumer functioning in the least restrictive environment.
Please note: this role may be filled by an Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Social Worker as per attached Role Description. The Role An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Nurses (Mental Health - Acute Care Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Provide provision of care delivery in a variety of hospital and communityApply professional knowledge and skills in clinical decision making under the practice supervisionContribute to the clinical education of students and other less experienced staff in consultation with the support of senior clinical staffProvide comprehensive care to consumers with an acute mental health issueAbout you To be successful in this position you will require:

This team's role is to be the first point of contact for the GCHHS Mental Health Service to provide education, support, information, advice and referral. ACT is a mobile assertive outreach crisis response team that offers a range of short-term options tailored to meet individual needs in the community which may also include acute care in the immediate post discharge phase of an inpatient admission. ACT is committed to providing a service that is empathic, courteous and able to develop positive relationships with people in crisis, founded on hope and recovery.
