Bethanie Como is a 99-bed aged care home that provides the full range of aged care services including dementia support, palliative care and respite services.
We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for our Como aged care home.
Full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week Working closely with your peers you will play a key leadership role in driving the customer experience across our Bethanie Como site.
You will have many layers of support but also the autonomy to make the role your own.
About the role: Provide leadership for the clinical team in collaboration with the clinical Facility Manager Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care to residents, which is client directed and in accordance with the Aged Care Standards Relieve the Facility Manager as required, including on–call and scheduled leave Support the Registered and Enrolled Nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical practice Assess competency of all clinical staff on an ongoing basis (including performance appraisals) and implement the necessary training and mentoring where necessary Establish professional relationships with all new and existing clients and their families to ensure the clinical team provide client directed care Mentor the clinical team to ensure they develop good communication channels with clients and their families Work in conjunction with the Clinical Governance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services that are in line with the Accreditation Standards and develop action plans to meet identified areas of improvement About you: You're an experienced clinical leader with a desire to develop your team to be the best they can be.

Additional requirements:
Current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Previous management experience within a clinical setting Demonstrated leadership of a multi-skilled team, with ability to motivate and inspire others Excellent customer service skills, with a client focused approach Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders both within and external to the organisation Working with Bethanie At Bethanie we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people and customers.
