Your part in St Andrew's War Memorial Day Surgery Centre St Andrews War Memorial Hospital Day Surgery are seeking to appoint a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee the running of their brand new Day Surgery Centre, commencing Early February 2025.
Leading an experienced, multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the ongoing delivery and development of procedural services across the two procedure rooms, operating theatre, and admission, discharge and recovery spaces that specialise in procedures such as plastic and oculoplastic surgery, pain procedures, minor urology, gynaecology procedures, maxillofacial, dental and minor orthopaedics.
Expecting to provide up to 35 procedures each day, you will apply your operational knowledge, leadership capability and communication skills to effectively lead your team to success.
You'll collaborate effectively with other healthcare leaders in the hospital, working together to deliver optimal patient outcomes through exceptional clinical care. A diverse role, you will:

Significant clinical experience within a perioperative environment.Ability to lead a team to deliver contemporary, evidence-based patient care.Expertise and skills in managing a cost centre budget and people management.Advocacy and contribution towards quality initiatives and improvements.Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent nursing qualification / AHPRA Registration.Post Graduate Qualification in Clinical Speciality.Ability to Commence early February 2025 preferable.St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital Day Surgery Centre is proudly part of the UnitingCare family.
