Clinical Nurse Manager-Communicable Disease Control
We are currently recruiting a suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Manager with a background in Communicable Disease Control who is looking for an exciting career opportunity in Albany. This position is fixed term – full time until 25/04/2025 with the possibility of extension(s). About the OPPORTUNITY A rewarding and interesting role where you will:
Represent Population Health Unit on committees, groups and meetings as negotiated with Director-Population Health and Public Health Manager.Coordinate the regional vaccination program with State/National targets and standards including maintenance of cold chain standards.Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate disease control and public health programs in consultation with community members and other service providers based on local needs and state and national priorities.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Significant community nursing experience at a senior level in the clinical and population health program specialty.Demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of the methods of surveillance and control of communicable diseases.Demonstrated extensive experience in health management systems, including data analysis and interpretation.To learn more about the role, please refer to the attached Job Description Form and contact Michaela Blomqvist on .
