We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for our Beachside aged care home located in Yanchep.
Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Beachside is one of our larger sites with 160 beds and provides specialised high level acuity, dementia, and palliative care.
Full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week Working closely with your peers, you will play a key leadership role in driving the customer experience across our Bethanie Beachside site.
You will have many layers of support but also the autonomy to make the role your own.
About the role: Provide leadership for the clinical team in collaboration with the clinical Facility Manager Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care to residents, which is client directed and in accordance with the Aged Care Standards Relieve the Facility Manager as required, including on-call and scheduled leave Support the Registered and Enrolled Nurses to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical practice Assess competency of all clinical staff on an ongoing basis (including performance appraisals) and implement the necessary training and mentoring where necessary Establish professional relationships with all new and existing clients and their families to ensure the clinical team provides client directed care Mentor the clinical team to ensure they develop good communication channels with clients and their families Work in conjunction with the Clinical Governance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services that are in line with the Accreditation Standards and develop action plans to meet identified areas of improvement About you: You're an experienced clinical leader with a desire to develop your team to be the best they can be.
