An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Inpatient Unit - Acute Care of the Elderly) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

Support the Nurse Unit Manager with best practices, education, and leadershipSupport the senior nursing team and organisation in progressing changeManage risk reporting and safety auditing to ensure a safe work environmentEffectively and positively lead and manage a team and portfolioAbout you
To be successful in this position you will require: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalentRegistration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of AustraliaEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Benefits

Permanent full time; Permanent part time (56 - 80 hours fortnightly)Base salary ranging from $107,960 - $115,604 per annum or $54.45 - $58.30 per hourAbout Us
The Clinical Nurse on Robina Acute Care of the Elderly sits within the General Medical and Aged Care (GMAC) service line. The team is compiled as a Multidisciplinary team (MDT) of Geriatricians/Medical doctors, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapist, Occupational therapist, Neuropsychologist, Social Workers and Nurses at all levels.
