This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/09/2025. About this role C14 is an acute medical ward recently relocated onto Sir Charles Gairdner Campus into a newly refurbished ward. There are 25 single rooms with ensuites with the newest technology built in, including staff assist bells, fall risk identifying lights, inbuilt ceiling hoists, 4 negative pressure rooms, and physiotherapy areas amongst large staff rooms and toilets. Working under the direction of the relevant Senior Registered Nurse(s), you will practise as a Clinical Nurse in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Making Flowchart. This includes:
25 single rooms with ensuites.Acute medical admissions including ICU step down, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, eating disorders, rheumatology, immunology, endocrinology and dermatology specialist patients.Exclusive C14 SDN and CNS cover Monday to Friday AM shifts.Progression opportunities within the ward.Mentorship of graduates, newly qualified nurses, assistant in nursing staff and nursing students by acting as a role model, providing leadership, support, team building and change management through respect, recognition and collaboration.Providing advanced, comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.Upholding and functioning within the core values of the organisation of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity.This role reports to the Nurse Manager.
