We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our Palliative Care Team in the Pilbara Region. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a nurse-led service that is grounded in best practice specialist palliative care. The team is supported by district medical officers and a palliative care specialist. The service provides on-call services to patients in the region.
What we are looking for: Advanced nursing and competence in the provision of patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of delivery of care. Advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making. Well-developed team leadership and membership skills, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Incorporation of quality and risk management within practice. A solid understanding of the Medicines and Poisons ACT 2014, Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016, and the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2010.
