Clinical Nurse

The Metropolitan Palliative and Community Care Service (MPaCCS) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated palliative care Clinical Nurse to join our professional team. This fixed-term position, integral to the success of our consultancy model, is available until 30 June 2025, with the possibility of further employment pending ongoing funding of the outreach program.
About the role Using a combination of impromptu and formal education, role modelling, and mentoring, you will promote best-practice nursing care for residents and their family carers. Additionally, you will help build the capacity of facilities to provide quality, holistic end-of-life and palliative care by supporting facility staff in learning and implementing relevant, evidence-based care techniques and methods. This position will be based in the North and Northeastern suburbs, though all staff may be expected to work across the metropolitan area.
