About us: The Blood Borne Virus and Sexual Health Service is based in Rockhampton and provides assessment, screening, diagnosis, and treatment as well as education and health promotion to the community. The service has an identified focus on at risk population groups whose behaviours or social disadvantages may put them at a greater risk of contracting a blood borne virus or sexually transmissible infection. RockhamptonRegion About the role: This role is responsible for the provision of direct clinical services, community education, health promotion and support services for groups or individuals in the CQHHS community at particular risk of Sexually Transmitted Infections/Human Immunodeficiency Virus and other Blood Borne Viruses.
Demonstrate advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, and expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of blood borne viruses and sexual health.
Provide clinical leadership to support the of an interdisciplinary team with strategies for a work based culture that promotes and supports change, communication, education, learning, research, and workforce development.
Maintain a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, relevant post graduate qualifications in the clinical area of expertise would be well regarded. Completion of or working towards post graduate qualification in sexual health, women's health, public health or communicable diseases would also be highly desirable. What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $4,496 p.m. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
