An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Midwest Mental Health and Community Alcohol and Drug Service based at the regional Step Up Step Down facility in Geraldton.
To be successful, you will have:Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with psychiatric disorders and treatment interventions, and principles of community-based mental health care and illness prevention.Demonstrated well-developed written and verbal communication, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to work with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic groups.A working knowledge of the WA Mental Health Act (2014) and other relevant legislation.Demonstrated ability to work with other health professionals in a multi-disciplinary team.Position Profile: The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse is to provide assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates Community Mental Health Nursing care to consumers of the Regional Step Up Step Down facility as part of Midwest Mental Health and Community Alcohol & Drug Service.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations.
