This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time, Casual with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
An opportunity exists for talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Midwest Community to fill Two FTE in Community Health. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/07/2025.
To be successful, you will have: Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement health promotion principles into clinical practice. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate primary health programs. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Possession of or substantial progress towards the attainment of a certificate in Child & Community Health Nursing through an accredited institution preferred. Position Profile: Provides clinical services as part of the core community health programs such as immunisation, school health and child health. Responsible for providing quality primary health services to the community within their own levels of competency to meet planned health outcomes.

The region is located in the northern middle section of Western Australia and incorporates three health districts - Gascoyne, Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison, is recognised for its unique natural environment and is a culturally diverse region with Aboriginal people representing 13% of the overall population.
