An exciting opportunity is currently available for experienced Clinical Nurses to join the Palliative Care Support Service, Cancer Care Services Team at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity: To provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within Palliative Care Support Service by supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) or Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable). We encourage applications from First Nations nurses and midwives in line with Health Equity, Growing Deadly Families, and Hospital and Health Plan Strategies. You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $131,900 p.a., comprising salary between $107,960 - $115,640 p.a. (f/t) or salary between $54.45 - $58.39 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f. or Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable).
