The role focuses on providing perioperative scrub/scout nursing staff with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to deliver advanced assessment and management of patients in the Perioperative Department. The role also supports nursing staff undertaking study in Cabrini's Transition to Specialty Practice program, Graduate Nurse and Post-Graduate Perioperative programs.Key ResponsibilitiesWork alongside the established Perioperative Clinical Education Team to develop, facilitate, and assess Cabrini's perioperative education.Ensure that educational resources are aligned with current evidence-based practices, adhering to Cabrini's guidelines, protocols, and policies.Moderate, update, and evaluate eLearning activities to maintain high standards of educational delivery.Maintain collaborative working relationships with Clinical Support Nurses to effectively deliver and assess the curriculum.Key CapabilitiesCurrent unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with NMBAPostgraduate qualification in Clinical Education (or working towards)Recent experience in an education role including the delivery and assessment of formal curriculumExperience in the facilitation of simulation and group learningExperience with eLearning technologies and/or learning management systemsAbility to engage and maintain relationships with stakeholdersContact : Tabitha Hole, Clinical Education Curriculum Developer M: 0412 813 749Apply now and be a part of our mission to provide exceptional care through education and innovation.
