Eastern Health Special Care Nurseries (SCN) are located at Box Hill and Angliss Hospitals.
Box Hill Hospital SCN is a 12-bed Level 4 Nursery, and the Angliss Hospital SCN is an 8-bed Level 3 Nursery.
Our nurseries care for up to 500 premature and unwell babies every year.
About the role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Neonatal Clinical Nurse Educator, with excellent clinical knowledge and recent experience in nurse education.
This exciting role is part of the Learning & Teaching Practice Capability team, within the Women & Children program, providing education to our Special Care Nurseries and other areas providing care to neonates across Eastern Health.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Current Nursing registration with AHPRAPost Graduate qualifications in neonatal nursing or similarRecent experience in nurse educationQualified to facilitate neonatal resuscitation training (desirable)Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experienceA strong commitment to high quality careThe ability to work as part of a diverse teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsVaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
