Job Description:The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for two Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) positions for scrub/scout specialty in our perioperative teams. If you are ready to take on the next challenge in education leadership and support, please apply.
The CNE is responsible for enhancing skills and knowledge by providing education that is based on current best practices. This includes planning, coordinating, delivering, implementing, and evaluating clinical education needs, both at unit level, as well as assisting with other educational requirements across the organisation. As a CNE, you will report to the L&D Manager and be part of the team of experienced CNEs at SVPHS.
The permanent part-time positions are:
L5 Theatres – Scrub/Scout CNE This position job shares with another CNE and covers 16hrs per fortnight, 8-hour days each Tuesday (a mix of morning and afternoon shifts can be negotiated).
L3 Theatres – Scrub/Scout CNE This position works opposite days to the Anaesthetic & Recovery CNE and covers 40hrs per fortnight on the below 8-hour day:
Week 1 – Tuesday and WednesdayWeek 2 - Monday, Tuesday and WednesdayIf you are looking to work further hours than the above listed hours, you are able to be contracted for further hours to work clinic shifts (paid as RN).
