Responsibilities:Develop and deliver clinical education programs.Support staff in clinical competency development and assessments.Ensure compliance with current healthcare standards and practices.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.Mentor and guide nursing staff in professional development.The Team:The Emergency Department (ED) team within Hospitals North plays a critical role in providing immediate, life-saving care to the community.
Comprising emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, paramedics, allied health professionals, and support staff, the team works collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions.
Their multidisciplinary approach ensures timely and effective treatment for patients, while their integration with broader health services, such as primary care and public health, supports holistic care and continuity.
Details of Appointment:Fixed term, part-time, day worker, working 32 hours per fortnight, commencing from 29 December 2024 until 27 March 2025.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary:$111,506 to $118,336 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Minimum Requirements:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
