The Role: Clinical Nurse Educator for the Surgical Ward at North West Regional Hospital in Burnie.
Provide education leadership and support for the dedicated team of nurses who support the surgical services at North West Regional hospital.Establish the new Expanded Support Program for registered nurses in their first three years post registration.Provide clinical leadership and research and quality improvement support to the team to meet the National Safety and Quality in Health care Standards.You need to be a Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field of nursing.
Experience in clinical nurse education is essential with further training in clinical education highly desirable.
Details of appointment: Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join the team.

Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full-time for three years or more, on top of relocation allowance already available.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
