The Sutherland Hospital is now recruiting to Burudi Gastroenterology Ward.The vision for nursing and midwifery at The Sutherland Hospital is to: Build a united team that provides compassionate care to our community through transformational, supportive and holistic nursing and midwifery.
Where you'll be working: Burudi Ward was established in 2024 to care for Gastroenterology patients within The Sutherland Hospital.
The ward consists of a 14-bed Gastroenterology unit which consists of mixture of medical and surgical speciality.
The unit operates 24 hours per day,7 days per week and consists of 8- and 10-hour shifts.
You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team who are passionate in managing patients with acute, chronic and Gastroenterology care needs.

SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.The Clinical Nurse Educator provides coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical nurse education (including programs) at the ward/unit level.
Such education may include orientation and/or transitioning for new nursing staff, undergraduate and casual nurses as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff.
The Clinical Nurse Educator also provides clinical supervision at the point of care within everyday clinical practice, in line with the ANMC Decision Making Frameworks for Nurses and Midwives.
