About the Role
Reporting to the ED Nurse Manager, you will take on a leadership role in providing hands-on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation to emergency nurses.
You will promote a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge.
In addition, you will ensure staff compliance to annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning components.
In this role, you will also attend relevant policy & procedure meetings, daily department huddles, weekly leadership meetings, and bi-monthly Education Meetings.
Your experience: Current AHPRA Registration5 years post-graduate Emergency Nursing experience and skilled competency in all ED nursing roles (triage, resuscitation, advanced nurse practice, paediatrics, adult)Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Emergency NursingEducator, Clinical Nurse Specialist or leadership experience in EDDemonstrated experience in eLearning platformsHigh degree of computer literacy including MS OfficeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsEmployee Benefits: Our OneHealthscope rewards program gives you access to a range of wellness benefits, as well as discounted onsite parking at Northern Beaches Hospital and access to Fitness Passport!

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $51.17 - $52.86 per hour.
