The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator - Clinical Initiative Nurse, ED is to facilitate and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Clinical Initiative Nurse (CIN) education framework, training program, and associated resources for the Emergency Department (ED).

The Role: Develop and deliver clinical education programs.Support staff in clinical competency development and assessments.Ensure compliance with current healthcare standards and practices.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.Mentor and guide nursing staff in professional development.The Team: The Emergency Department (ED) team within Hospitals North plays a critical role in providing immediate, life-saving care to the community. Comprising of emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, paramedics, allied health professionals, and support staff, the team works collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions.Details of appointment: Fixed term, part time, day worker, working 24 hours per fortnight, commencing from 4 November 2024 until 26 January 2025. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
