The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator is to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education programs in the clinical setting/ward/unit.

The Team: Ward 5D is a 32 bed General Medicine Ward specialising in Haematology and Oncology Care and the delivery of inpatient cancer therapies.In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) undertakes Nursing assessments, contributes to planning and coordinates the delivery of services of admitted patients to Ward 5D.Actively incorporates teaching, practice-based research, and quality activities within the role to improve standards of care.Details of Appointment 1 * Permanent part time, day workerposition working 12 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
1 * fixed term part time, day workerposition working 12 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 6 January 2025

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary:$111,506 - 118,336pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration
