Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver clinical education programs.
Support staff in clinical competency development and assessments.
Ensure compliance with current healthcare standards and practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
Mentor and guide nursing staff in professional development.
The Team:
The Emergency Department (ED) team within Hospitals North plays a critical role in providing immediate, life-saving care to the community. Comprising emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, paramedics, allied health professionals, and support staff, the team works collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term, part time, day worker, working 32 hours per fortnight, commencing from 29 December 2024 until 27 March 2025.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$111,506 to $118,336 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
