Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides nursing services within the health service settings; and is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research. The activities are predominantly clinical in nature, but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities. The CN provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care and provides leadership and support to other nursing staff.
About the Team
Dysart Health Service is located in the Isaac Regional Shire in the town of Dysart, approximately 250kms south-west from Mackay. A journey which takes approximately 2.5 hours. It is a 9-bed hospital servicing surrounding mining towns with a 24-hour emergency department and a steady flow of outpatients. The town has enthusiastic community spirit who all staff enjoy being a part of. Working in a rural facility provides an opportunity to widen your skillset and visit some unique places.
