Clinical Nurse (Drug and Alcohol Brief Intervention Team) (Maryborough), Queensland HealthAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse to join the Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services at the Maryborough Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.
Your opportunity: To provide expert clinical and client-centred care within the Drug & Alcohol Brief Intervention Team (DABIT) through shift-by-shift team leadership. Support the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.Provide clinical assessment, review, and referral of clients presenting to Departments of Emergencies in within the guidelines of the Qld Drug and Alcohol Brief Intervention Team (DABIT) Model of Service 2017.Responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research within the Drug & Alcohol Brief Intervention Team (DABIT). The Clinical Nurse practices autonomously, is a contributing member of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS) Clinical Management Team, applies critical thinking and provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to AODS clients.You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $131,900 p.a., comprising salary between $107,960 - $115,604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
