This includes taking a lead role in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of quality assurance mechanisms that underpin a quality improvement program which is consistent with service delivery plans and priorities.In consultation with the NUM proactively direct, lead and participate in the development of an education and research culture. Support the NUM in developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical practice standards, including monitoring clinical competences of the health care team and as required individual team members.As a senior member of the health care team, support the NUM in a broad range of administrative, service delivery and business planning issues relating to the provision of acute, emergency and aged care services, including but not limited to ACFI funding, accreditation, continuous quality improvement and leisure and lifestyle coordination. Details of Appointment Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call)position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you are able to join the team *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of $3,533 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10% Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered NurseCurrent Registration to Work with Vulnerable People*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
