• Lead the development and execution of quality standards, procedures, and programs across diverse departments within Central West Hospital and Health Service.
• Engage in clinical governance processes and ensure precise reporting of clinical governance activities.
• Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to enact clinical governance priorities and strategies aligned with the CWHHS Strategic Plan.

Patient Centred Care for our Central West communities People-centred care | Quality and safety | Integrity and accountability | Investment in staff | Innovation and change What's involved – Clinical Nurse Consultant (Quality) will provide support and expertise to management teams and multidisciplinary staff in delivering care, including the promotion of best practice principles in quality improvement, risk management and clinical audit. Ensure quality standards are monitored and met to ensure safe and effective standards of care are provided and a robust and comprehensive governance framework is in place across the Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS). Participate in clinical governance processes across the health service including evidence collation to demonstrate compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, State and National Policy and Procedure and Service frameworks. Ensure accurate reporting of clinical governance activity.

About Central West Hospital and Health Service - We are responsible for the delivery of healthcare services to communities across a vast region to 20.6 per cent of Queensland. As a rural and remote hospital and health service, Central West HHS provides a range of community, primary and hospital-based services and has formed strong partnerships with other service providers to collectively support the holistic care to the people of the Central West.
