Seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Patient Safety to contribute to the successful positioning of the Quality and Patient Safety service through the provision of high quality, accountable and measurable healthcare.
The Role: Support the Department of Acute Inpatient Services leadership team to develop and implement departmental quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.Drive department level initiatives to address specific areas of concern relating to quality, clinical treatment, patient/client safety, risk management, and progress accreditation requirements.Access, monitor and evaluate department level clinical data and indicators as required and provide relevant advice and recommendations to the leadership team.Drive the use of co-design and consumer engagement within the department and champion the use of Patient Experience Data to focus improvement opportunities.The Team: Hospitals North Quality and Patient Safety Service is focused on creating an environment where improving patient outcomes is at the centre of all activity. By continually monitoring and improving care processes, prioritising patient safety and satisfaction we will support clinicians to provide high quality, best practice evidenced care and strive for excellence.

Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
