Clinical Nurse Consultant - Patient Safety (529505)Department of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals NthHospitals North - Qlty & Ptnt SafetyApplications must be submitted by Friday 06 December, 2024 11:55 PM AESTAward/Classification:Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 6Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 pro rata, per annumEmployment Type:Part TimeLocation:3/39 Frankland St, LauncestonThe Team:The Hospitals North Quality and Patient Safety Service is focused on creating an environment where improving patient outcomes is at the centre of all activity.The Quality and Patient Safety Service upholds and promotes Hospitals North's CARE values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.The team prides itself on being supportive and enabling of all members to develop and advance in this specialty area.The team has a patient-centred focus, fostering a positive patient safety culture to improve patient outcomes and experience.The Role:Support the Department of Sub Acute and Ambulatory Care Leadership team to develop and implement departmental quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.Drive department-level initiatives to address specific areas of concern relating to quality, clinical treatment, patient/client safety, risk management, and progress accreditation requirements.Access, monitor, and evaluate department-level clinical data and indicators as required and provide relevant advice and recommendations to the leadership team.Drive the use of co-design and consumer engagement within the department and champion the use of Patient Experience Data to focus improvement opportunities.Details of Appointment:Permanent part time, day worker, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
