Clinical Nurse Consultant - Patient Safety (529504) - Department of Surgical and Perioperative ServicesDepartment of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals NthHospitals North - Qlty & Ptnt SafetyApplications must be submitted by Sunday 17 November, 2024 11:55 PM AEST.Award/Classification:Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 6$111,506 to $118,336 pro rata, per annumEmployment type:Part TimeRegion:NorthLocation:3/39 Frankland St, LauncestonSeeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Patient Safety to contribute to the successful positioning of the Quality and Patient Safety service through the provision of high quality, accountable and measurable healthcare.The Role:Support the Department of Surgical and Perioperative Services leadership team to develop and implement departmental quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.Drive department level initiatives to address specific areas of concern relating to quality, clinical treatment, patient/client safety, risk management, and progress accreditation requirements.Access, monitor and evaluate department level clinical data and indicators as required, providing relevant advice and recommendations to the leadership team.Drive the use of co-design and consumer engagement within the department and champion the use of Patient Experience Data to focus improvement opportunities.The Team:Hospitals North Quality and Patient Safety Service is focused on creating an environment where improving patient outcomes is at the centre of all activity.
