Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program
Ever considered a career in the country? The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to support new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles. It is available to new and existing nurses working full-time, part-time on fixed-term and permanent contracts across 76 select sites.   Eligible nurses and midwives may receive between $5,000 and $17,000 paid over 12-months.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will support the regional services of cancer care coordination and delivery in the Goldfields Region. Administratively the role also has a regional focus on nursing recruitment, safety, quality, and risk management related to cancer services.
The following services are provided in the Goldfields by both locally based and visiting specialists:
Level 4 Outreach Medical Oncology Service
Level 4 Chemotherapy Unit
Level 3 Outreach Medical Oncology Service
Level 3 Chemotherapy Unit
Position Profile:  To provide clinical expertise for patients and their families based on advanced knowledge of cancer management and treatments. Demonstrates advanced leadership and role modelling. Promotes best practice and maintenance of clinical standards through setting and monitoring policy, from development, through implementation and evaluation and facilitates change management as required to improve the cancer patient's management.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Extensive clinical/professional knowledge in the area of cancer services.
Sound knowledge and application of human resource principles.
Extensive knowledge and application of quality improvement and patient safety principles.
