We provide mental health services to adults, children, and young people under 18 years of age with serious mental health issues.
About the role: To deliver high-level clinical services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for Child and Youth consumers with Mental Illness in a Community Rural Mental Health setting.
Provide clinical coordination and leadership in the intake assessment and crisis response of the Child and Youth Mental Health service.
About you: Hold qualifications and the appropriate registration/certifications to practice in one of the following: Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing.Demonstrate a high level of profession-specific knowledge, expertise, and skill in clinical assessments and intervention within the current legislative and policy context of a Child and Youth Mental Health Service.Demonstrated ability to provide high-level communication in a demanding multidisciplinary team environment with the need for high levels of risk sensitivity and case review.Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvement initiatives and provide clinical/professional supervision to less experienced practitioners.
