The individual will apply advanced specialist knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to influence and improve clinical workflow design. The position requires adherence to defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, and maintaining current knowledge of nursing practice through ongoing professional development. Critical thinking, advanced problem-solving, and expert clinical judgment are essential in addressing clinical workflow design and informatics needs. The individual will work across professional and organisational boundaries to influence outcomes, acting as a clinical resource, advisor, mentor, and technical expert.The role also involves indirect participation in clinical care, supporting the clinical leadership team by identifying and addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy. Collaboration with the interprofessional healthcare team is crucial in ensuring safety, security, and integrity for patients. The role supports innovation and change to meet emerging service needs and contributes to digital workflow design, policy development, professional practice, and research. All responsibilities are conducted within the framework of relevant legislation, policies, and contemporary human resource practices, with an emphasis on workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, and risk management.The successful personTo succeed in this role, you must have advanced specialist knowledge, experience, and clinical expertise in one or more MHAOD areas, along with at least 12 months of recent clinical practice in a hospital and health service (HHS) environment. You should also be skilled in applying clinical knowledge and experience within the realm of clinical informatics, which can be applied to the Digital Transformation Program team to ensure alignment with the program's strategy, plans, and priorities.Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping clinical practice by providing professional advocacy within the Digital Transformation Program.
