Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant (Melanoma Specialist Nurse) to join our dedicated Cancer Care Services team. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide advanced practice nursing that incorporates high level clinical service, clinical leadership, research, education, and clinical services planning and management to optimise patient outcomes.
Your opportunity: The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Specialist Melanoma Nurse delivers expert nursing care, clinical advice and support to inpatients/outpatients, nurses, and other health care professionals regarding high risk and advanced melanoma. The Specialist Melanoma Nurse is an advanced practice nursing role that incorporates high level clinical service, clinical leadership, research, education, and clinical services planning and management to optimise patient outcomes. The Specialist Melanoma Nurse will be expected to work predominantly within the treatment settings for advanced and high-risk melanoma within Cancer Care Service. The Specialist Melanoma Nurse will work closely with the Medical Oncologists and Surgical Team as a key part of the treatment team. Two Temporary Part Time Positions (38 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 30th June 2026. Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $82,106 p.a. (p/t), comprising salary rates between $66.86 - $72.59 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Two Temporary Part Time Positions, 38 hours p.f. from date of appointment until 30th June 2026) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
