The Role:The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Melanoma provides clinical leadership and direction to improve the quality and continuity of care for clients diagnosed with melanoma across the continuum of care in North/Northwest Tasmania. This role includes:
Providing authoritative clinical expert advice and supporting the patient's care from diagnosis.Coordinating implementation of care across different phases of the cancer journey.Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external service providers.Reporting CNC-melanoma activity as per requirements outlined in the current MIA Funding Agreement.Leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality practices, policy, and procedure development.Details of appointment:Fixed term, part-time, day worker position, working up to 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing from 18 November 2024 until 30 June 2026. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023. Our employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
