You will work within a well-supported, innovative, diverse multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment to young people and their families.Our Aim:The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking passionate and dedicated Lead Practitioners to provide clinical services to young people and their families experiencing mental health concerns.The Lead Practitioner will provide a person-centred approach and work within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high-level clinical leadership.The role will include:Being part of a dynamic and well-supported team committed to delivering high-quality mental health services to young people and their families/carers.Undertaking clinical services through complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.Working alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania.Leading and collaborating with a diverse group of clinicians, including providing support and consultation to team members as required.Three positions are available, one in the North, one in the Northwest, and one in the South.NorthBased in Launceston CBD.Easy access to natural beauty, including waterfalls, bush walks, beautiful beaches, and excellent mountain biking tracks.Launceston offers access to prestigious schools.North WestOffice is based in Burnie and Devonport.Access to beautiful beaches, bushwalks, and recreational activities.SouthOffice based in Hobart City Centre.Access to beautiful beaches, bushwalks, and a vibrant outdoor lifestyle.An attractive relocation package and support for international visa requirements may be available for successful applicants.Two permanent full-time day worker positions working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.Salary: $111,506 - $118,336 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.Access to salary packaging and a range of benefits including living expenses and meal entertainment if eligible.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse with a specialist tertiary graduate or post-graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution.Current Working with Children Registration.Desirable criteria:A minimum of 3 years current post-graduate experience in child, adolescent, and/or youth mental health or relevant field.Training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions.Current Driver's Licence.The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment.
