About the opportunity:Position: Clinical Nurse Consultant
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Infection Prevention and Control, Townsville University Hospital
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you'll dive into research, education, and support to keep our team at the cutting edge of best practices.
Guided by Standard 3 of the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards and Australian Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines, you'll help shape a safer future for all in a seamless continuum of care.

Salary range: $5081.10 to $5516.60 p.f.

Requirements:Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
Possession of a class C drivers' licence.
Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Rural Hospitals Service Group network to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities.
This may involve day and/or overnight stays.
Travel on small planes or ferry may be required.
The successful applicant/s will need to be able to commit to this requirement.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
Probation period may apply.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted criminal history clearance and Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening.
